Mother's Day '09

I had a wonderful mother's day this year :) What more can I ask for? I have a great son who gives me lots of love, hugs and kisses (not to mention a FABULOUS blue hat and a new charm for my charm bracelet)! Here are some pictures from today.... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY LADIES!!!

The Sleepover

Image
Jem was super excited to have River come over for a sleepover this Friday! He had been preparing for days....a series of 5 beauty products were lined up on his bathroom counter for him to use to "make myself handsome" for when his cousin would arrive *LOL*. {For those who are detail oriented and therefore need to know, those things included: a comb, a brush, some chapstick, a mirror and some floss}. Here they are playing outside with buddy Carson....cleaning the Earth as River told me :)

The bike is CONQUERED!!!!

Image
He got this bike for his birthday from our friends The Bakulas....his 4th or 5th, I can't remember exactly. But I do remember the number of times he's ridden it - because it's the same number of times I've ridden it!!!! ONCE. He never rode it with training wheels, instead preferring to ride his jeep or scooter. We took the training wheels off about a year ago, and he tried riding it that one time.....and never set foot on it again. Fast forward to today......where daddy kind of tricked him into riding it once more....and to my surprise, he actually DID IT and HAD FUN doing it!!!!! Yay for you Jem, at the age of 7 you conquered the bike! Check him out on the video below :)

More Cruise Pictures

I decided to make a little photo montage, showing more of our photos from the cruise. Enjoy!

Musical Madness

This is what happens when you're an only child - you have WAY too much time on your hands to come up with "fun" things to show mom and dad *LOL*.

The Cruise

For our 10th anniversary, Brandon and I took a weeklong cruise to the Caribbean. It was an AMAZING vacation - I don't know where to begin to describe it! Our room was nice, but our balcony better! The food was good, and never ending! The shows were nightly and entertaining - we saw a magician, acrobats, comedians, broadway style shows, and an ice-show. Let's not forget the Love & Marriage game show *LOL* and the belly flop competition! My favorite part though had to be all of the ports of call - getting to step off the ship to visit these countries and partake in some exciting activities was AWESOME! Our Ship, Freedom of the Seas. This is officially the BIGGEST boat in the world! Felt like it too - I still couldn't get my bearings, even after a whole week onboard! Our first port of call was Labadee, Haiti. This is Royal Caribbean's own private spot in Haiti - and we did lots of fun activities here! One of those activities was jet-skiing around the coast of Haiti. Fo...
