What's New With The Carter Family

Love them.  So much.  And of course like every mother out there I think that MY kids are the most beautiful kids in the world.  They're definitely the most beautiful kids in MY world.  Finley in her pretty pink dress, and Jem in his red shirt.  Beautiful.

Baby Finley is now 4 months old!  You heard right!  FOUR MONTHS.  The last month has just flown by...and she's been growing and eating like crazy.  So it was no surprise to hear (at her doctor's appointment today) that she is in the 70th percentile for weight (weighing 14lbs and 12oz) and in the 90th percentile for height (measuring 25-1/4" tall).  My baby girl is growing up fast! The best news I received today was that she is good to go for rice cereal!  I'm soooo relieved.  I'm one of these people that feels better about doing things once I get the "official" ok - so getting the word from Dr Jacobs made it all possible :)   Hopefully her little tummy tolerates it well...because heaven knows she's hungry enough to eat more and I don't think my boobies can keep up with her demand for much longer!
