What's New With The Carter Family

I am lucky enough to know, and count as a friend, one pretty awesome photographer :)   Heidi Lawson, of Wishful Thinking Photography  .  I absolutely LOVE her style, and I think she captures my children in the most amazing way.  Just look at some of the shots she took of Finley, to celebrate her being 6 months old.....these are my favorite ones....    

Baby girl LOVES watermelon.  I cut up a little slice for her last night, and she couldn't get enough of it.  I guess it felt good against her gums, because she definitely enjoyed it more when it was a slice as opposed to small pieces :) 

This is an example of what NOT to do. Because this is definitely NOT sleeping. Little bugger. Little miss spent a half hour messing around before I got her out of bed.  An hour later we tried again.  THIS is what sleeping looks like.

Love this place....and especially love going there with these guys.  Jem's preschool buddies - Wesley, Tiana and Kira (not there that day though).   It was such a fun, relaxing day.  Can't wait to go back again next year!   Even Miss Fin had fun :)  She's still not sure about the water, but we'll get her loving it in no time!

Yep, it's true. Seven months ago today I was in the hospital, cuddling the most adorable little girl :) Here she is today, my chunky little monkey!
