What's New With The Carter Family

April Fools!  No, not really.  It's my anniversary, for reals :)  This year marked year number 14....and we decided to spend the day with the whole family (seeing as it was spring break and everyone was  home together anyway!).  We ended up going to the zoo in Seattle, and it was a really nice time.  Here are some pictures from our day...

There were two very important things to remember about our Anniversary this year. One, we went for a romantic lunch at the top of the Space Needle in downtown Seattle, that was both scrumptious (albeit overpriced) and breathtaking. Two, I spent the whole week referring to our 'anniversary' as our "sexy legs" celebration. Please note: I am not, nor have I ever been, a Bingo Player. However some bizzare spirit overtook my brain this week and I COULD NOT, WOULD NOT stop saying this LOL. For our 10th anniversary, Brandon and I took a weeklong cruise to the Caribbean. It was an AMAZING vacation - I don't know where to begin to describe it! Our room was nice, but our balcony better! The food was good, and never ending! The shows were nightly and entertaining - we saw a magician, acrobats, comedians, broadway style shows, and an ice-show. Let's not forget the Love & Marriage game show *LOL* and the belly flop competition! My favorite part though had to be all of the ports of call - getting to step off the ship to visit these countries and partake in some exciting activities was AWESOME! Our Ship, Freedom of the Seas. This is officially the BIGGEST boat in the world! Felt like it too - I still couldn't get my bearings, even after a whole week onboard! Our first port of call was Labadee, Haiti.
