What's New With The Carter Family

I know it's been a while since my last post....but I wanted to share a picture from this year's Mother's Day.  It was a very nice day for me -- I got to enjoy my family, and they treated me to some special gifts (a charm for my bracelet from each of my kiddos, and a wonderful French soup lunch from my husband).   On the way home from church we stopped by the cemetery to pay our respects to Brandon's mom.  It was a sweet moment, seeing my family remember their love for Pam - especially today, on Mother's Day.  I hope it was a great day for all moms out there - especially my very own.  Love you Mama!

I love Mother's Day. It reminds me what is most important. Being a mother. Loving my family. And the little gifts of kisses, hugs and jewelery don't hurt either :) Every year my little boy gives me a new charm for my charm bracelet. This year he chose a charm that says "Princess" with a little pink jewel underneath :) It made me smile to think that my son thought THAT particular charm screamed "my mom, Cathy". Maybe to him I am a princess :) That's a nice thought!

I had a wonderful mother's day this year :) What more can I ask for? I have a great son who gives me lots of love, hugs and kisses (not to mention a FABULOUS blue hat and a new charm for my charm bracelet)! Here are some pictures from today.... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY LADIES!!!
